I drove over an hour to get my rear brakes done here (which the shop was aware of when I made my appointment) and was quoted $700-1200 max (was told that for my model car it “should” be on the lower end because I have a smallest model).Ive had my brakes done with this model car before when I lived in another state so I know what a non-dealership price should be around (this is my 2nd purchase of the same model). I thought it was odd that they couldn’t give me an exact price because they had the make, model, and vin number for my vehicle, which had all original parts…. I now know why they do this. It’s to get you to the shop (wait over 2 hours just for an estimate) and then you are given the “real amount”. At that point , where are you going to go?? Not only was I charged the max amount above (which btw was only $175 cheaper than going to the dealer which I wish I had done at this point) but I was also at the shop from 9am - 5pm because my car wasn’t done until they were basically closed. I’m BEYOND upset and felt like I was taken advantage of because I am a young female and I have a luxury vehicle. I would 100% NOT recommend going to this place if you have a luxury European car unless you want to pay dealership prices without all the perks of actually going to the dealership. PS - I should have heeded the red flag of the woman complaining about the amount they are charging for things when I got to the shop.
